I have a certain style of poker that sort of matches my personality. I like to play fast, very fast online poker. One of the biggest hurdles I had to overcome in getting used to playing in online casinos, poker especially — is to be patient.

In all types of gambling and especially poker patience is rewarded. I have won (and lost) my share of tourneys because either myself or my opponent was not patient enough. In large tournaments where there are thousands of players it can take 7,8 or even more hours till a winner is crowned. If you can sit back and wait for and play the best hands, you will have a much better chance of winning.

If you want fast and won’t settle for anything less then you should try single table ‘turbo’ style games. You still need to wait for the good hands but game-play in general is much quicker.
